Reincarnation On Trial
Father Benson reports from the afterlife that his best sources of information, all the way up to an advanced person 4+ billion years old, know nothing of reincarnation.

One of the sturdiest “nails in the coffin” of reincarnation comes from Father Benson. I invite you to a more complete discussion of this in the article “Will You Survive the Terror of Eternal Life.”
Essentially, Father Benson, according to his testimony, has discussed the reincarnation question with those on the highest levels of human evolvement – this would include an advanced person 4+ billion years old. None of these advanced beings knows anything of reincarnation, but for its error.
You will want to read “Will You Survive the Terror of Eternal Life” for another reason. Therein I present evidence that, on the other side, the dysfunctional ego creates a virtual “alternate reality.” In those skewed and unbalanced mind-made worlds, reincarnation, for its disturbed inhabitants, can seem quite normal; and it would be from off-kilter and ego-led minds such as these the reports of reincarnation originate.
Let me restate this: In the afterlife, among so-called advanced persons, one finds dystopian views concerning the "omega point," the final evolution and destiny of humankind. Adherents thereof preach a gospel of losing one's individuality, of finally being rid of the "spoiled self." And part of this message from "the inmates of the asylum" is reincarnational theory, another plank in their party-platform of self-loathing, of aversion toward the sacred self. These hapless creatures reside in existential crisis, never having known the joy of simply being alive; and, therefore, as the poet informs us, have never known "what we stay alive for."
