In a recent news article, Stephen Miller is quoted, “When we use language that's designed to obscure the truth, that's not good faith.”

Historian Paul Johnson called it “the destruction of language.”

Major Erik Dorf would be proud.

The mutilation of children is retooled “gender-affirming care.” Illegal aliens, mass-invading and trampling on national property rights, are reintroduced as “undocumented migrants.” The snuffing out of the helpless pre-born is recast as “reproductive rights.” "Diversity" means "we like your minority, religious, or special-interest group if you agree with our political agenda, but, if not, then we call you racist and phobic, won't like your diversity, and will demonize you."

Editor's note: Everywhere in society people want to be with others who are like themselves -- "birds of a feather" -- and even in Summerland like-minded ones congregate together, but it's only the corrupt and lying politicians, as a means of vote-buying, who deify "diversity".

Why this obfuscation?

It's part of a calculated scheme to seduce a populace into accepting a new world paradigm. When the truth and the facts are not on your side, then you marshal the beguiling force of propaganda to bring you to power.

Adrian Smith made the comment, to the effect: Why is it that a certain group can always be counted on to support atrocity, mayhem, and general disorder in society?

The answer is, they’re in favor of any activity that will destabilize society. They intend to create crisis, for which they hope to position themselves as savior.

Freedom, they put forward, is the problem: free speech, free markets, freedom to live as you wish, is the problem. Freedom is so messy, so untidy. Much better, they intimate, to allow an elite to regulate all of life, to ensure safety, security, and "fairness" for all.

They love the word "fairness." Ask Major Dorf what "fairness" means. It means "letting us rule over you" because your personal freedoms are so unfair to so many.

It's their version of utopia.

Currently lacking the ability to gain power by force and brutality – which has been the weapon of choice for thousands of years – they content themselves, for the moment, with deception and propaganda to effect totalitarian control.

Why do they do this? They have their pietous "good reasons," but the deeper reason is spiritual in nature.

They're materialists, led by the dysfunctional ego. They insist that matter, not consciousness, is the basis of reality.

For them, there is no future life, no perception of the inner riches, no living in the presence of a Higher Power, no underlying brotherhood and sisterhood connecting all, no meaning to the universe -- and, therefore, no accountability – which leads them to live solely for the moment, for the shriveled self alone, snatching at whatever temporary pleasures might be extorted from the greater good.
