Reincarnation On Trial

primitive man in the spirit world

return to Reincarnation main-page

‘Primitive man is here with us… that same primitive man is now resident in the spirit world.’

The following is from Father Robert Benson, channeled testimony from the afterlife, via the mediumship of Anthony Borgia, as reported in the book, Facts:

"Primitive man, as the very early inhabitants of earth are called, is here with us in the spirit world. Such souls are the occupants of the highest spheres. They came here as they left the earth world -- you would regard them as savages… those ‘primitive’ men who have so evolved and spiritually progressed that they are now dwellers in the highest realms, who are possessed of immense knowledge and wisdom, and who are, in every sense, wondrous souls."

In his writings, Father Benson asserts that all those who once lived on the Earth are now in the spirit world. This includes primitive man. However, these once-savages now comprise a ruling class over there “in the highest realms.”

But this awesome and marvelous spiritual evolution – from savage to “upper management” of the spirit world – was accomplished naturally, as a tiny germinating seed grows to be an oak -- with n'ary a hint of any need to return to mortal life on Earth.

According to the doctrine of reincarnation, if anyone were in need of multiple lives to effect a spiritual evolution, it would be the savages known as primitive man.

But, this is not the case. We learn from Father Benson in the afterlife that the class of humans known as “primitive man” reside today in the spirit world. They have never reincarnated. Once they crossed over, they were there for all time.

And, once we cross over, we can talk to these former "primitives." They have the same essential identities as on the day of their passing.

This unimpeachable continuity, this permanence of present life, is alluded to by Benson a great many times in his several books, excerpts of which I’ve presented in another writing.

'primitive man ... is here with us in the spirit world'

Here is a more complete quotation which continues the above thought concerning primitive man:

"Primitive man, as the very early inhabitants of earth are called, is here with us in the spirit world. Such souls are the occupants of the highest spheres. They came here as they left the earth world—you would regard them as savages…

"Primitive man ‘died’, undergoing therein a process exactly similar to that which I underwent, though the circumstances of it might be widely different. That same primitive man is now resident in the spirit world...

"We who live in the spirit world can see the might and majesty of the Father’s great creation—the universe. But we can also see what is far greater and far more majestic -- man himself. It will be said, perhaps, that there cannot be anything very mighty and majestic about those hideous denizens of the dark realms I have described. No! In their present state most certainly not. But resident within every one of those unfortunate beings there is the germ of spiritual evolution and progression. And therein lies his might and majesty. Remember those ‘primitive’ men who have so evolved and spiritually progressed that they are now dwellers in the highest realms, who are possessed of immense knowledge and wisdom, and who are, in every sense, wondrous souls.

"The people of the earth world may think it strange to walk through these realms and mingle with persons who lived on the earth-plane hundreds—and, in some cases, thousands—of years ago. A meeting of the past, as it were, with the eternal present. But it is not strange to us here."

from Father Benson's book, "Life In The World Unseen, Part II":

‘The most one could say, Roger, in answer to your question as to the age of the spirit world, is that it existed before the earth world. That we know from high sources. Well, then, if the earth first came into being between three thousand and five thousand million years ago, as it has been computed, then that figure may convey something to your mind. I’m rather afraid it won’t. It doesn’t to me.’ ‘Nor to me,’ said Ruth. ‘Just so. All it can do is to suggest a gargantuan number of years. If the spirit world were in existence so long ago as that—and we have every assurance that it was—then there are existing people in these lands, somewhere, who can claim at least that gigantic number of years as their age."

We take note of “the germ of spiritual evolution and progression.” Even the lowest of the low, the bestial and perverted in the Dark Realms, cannot expunge the glowing ember of god-life within. It’s like a seed that will yet, in a very natural process, have its way, will burgeon and manifest its divine heritage.

This is our “salvation plan” – not reincarnation – and "the authorized version" works very well: the once-savages now rule the universe!

The teaching of “R” is a monstrous fraud, a grand hoax, a pernicious prevarication, sold to egos in the world who are trying to escape the emptiness within.

postscript

The following is channeled information via the mediumship of William W. Aber, the Psychic Research Society, as reported in “The Rending Of The Veil” (1898), compiled by J.H. Nixon. Testimonies were offered by numerous spirit-persons by means of full-form visible materialization. Spirit William Denton communicates:

"I hope the idea of reincarnation will be dismissed as an error that holds the soul to Earth rather than a means whereby you can be freed from the conditions of earthly ignorance… The fact is that all spiritual beings that have ever lived in the form are still existent as thinking beings in the spirit world... Think no longer that the soul of man cannot escape a ceaseless round of transmigrations ere it can be absolved, for it needs no other incarnation than its first to become capable of existence in spirit life.
