We are to follow "the truth" wherever it leads, no matter the source.

All great literature, if it might be deemed so, will contain elements of and "sign-markers" to the truth. No source is "infallible," there is no such thing as a "holy book," but neither will these be utterly devoid of things useful, wise, and wonderful.

We are to "stand in the open sunny air," considering and weighing all information with objective mind. The Bible contains aspects helpful to our edification, and we should acknowledge the good when we find it.
