‘God is light’. This means that it is UC’s very nature to reveal itself. A Course In Miracles: "God has no secrets. He does not lead you through a world of misery, waiting to tell you, at the journey's end, why He did this to you." While the principle of “cloud of unknowing” enshrouds Divinity’s infinite mind, our inability to know everything about God is not a function of any unwillingness on God’s part. The ocean cannot fit into a teacup, and there are natural barriers for us to survey all of God’s mind. But some of us will know more than others, and the difference will be ascribed to one’s willingness to be taught. UC desires to reveal itself according to our openness to receive.
In the “mystical experience” writing, we said that UC is like the Colorado River ever pressing against Hoover Dam, desiring to burst forth. So it is with us; our egoic defenses constitute barrier to the workings and revelations of UC in our minds and lives. silence your ego and your power will rise
